As an incoming freshman heading into the unknown, the Lord has given me peace and love through Christians on Campus. Even though we remain sheltering in place, it doesn’t stop us from enjoying the Lord! One of my favorite events was the monthly fellowship night. I was so encouraged by the story of our guest speaker Brother Willie and the questions he asked us to think about. In our small group we tried to answer all of his questions regarding the battle between Goliath and David presented in 1 Samuel 17, in which David defeated Goliath armed only with a slingshot and a stone. Through our discussion, we came to a conclusion that just as David had fully trusted the Lord instead of physical items or strength in his battle against Goliath, we must also place our faith in the Lord.
