I know that for many, this past week has been hectic. With the return of in-person instruction and the anxieties that come with our daily lives, each morning (at least for me) has been filled with the stressful considerations of “what-ifs.” However, Romans 9:23 tells us that the Lord wants to “make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy…” The riches of His glory are actually just the Lord himself, and the vessels are us! Despite these stressful and tiring situations that arise around us, we have a Person we can always turn to who can make our day better. Personally, I have been spending time in the mornings just contacting the Lord to fill me—whether it’s just calling on the Lord, reading a chapter of the Bible, or even singing hymns! Touching the Lord in the mornings has been enough to transform my mood for the remainder of the day, and keep me going through all situations.
