Before the start of another busy semester, I’m glad I had the opportunity to enjoy a 3-day retreat in the mountains with the whole club! The sledding, ziplining, charades, and snowball fights were a lot of fun, but the real takeaways came from our time studying the book of Acts in our groups of twos and threes/fours and fives. For me, the most enlightening thing was seeing that we all have the responsibility and privilege to be apostles today. The apostles two thousand years ago were just young men who were full of the Holy Spirit—today, that same Spirit is available to us! We can be those who the Lord needs today if we cooperate with the Spirit, continue steadfastly in prayer, and constitute ourselves with His Word!
