A Change in Mind

Updated: Feb 27

I was reminded in this week’s Bible Study that Satan will find many subtle ways to bring us into temptation. As we saw in Matthew 4, the devil will tempt us physically, mentally, and spiritually. He will present us with many outward appealing things, whether it’s a job, a hobby, a person, etc. Even more, he manipulates God’s Word to inject false thoughts into our minds. As I reflected on my tough week at Berkeley, I have to admit that I have fallen into temptation many times. But, praise the Lord, I can repent! All I need is a change in mind. When I apply the Lord’s blood, I am forgiven! Once I have repented, God will come to me and all that is left for me to do is drop my “net” and follow Him and become a “fisher of men”.
