How amazing it is that the Word is a living Person! I really appreciated that when we come to the Word, not only are we able to know about God as defined and expressed in the Word, but we also get to know Him as a person with whom we can have an intimate relationship. God desires for us to be personal with Him, and we can do so by spending time with this living Person in the Word. Whenever we come to the Word, God comes! He is so accessible to us and is even more available to us than the air we breathe. We can contact Him anywhere and at any time! This Person becomes so real to us when we simply come to the Word and experience Him in a tangible way.
